Job Description

• The candidate must purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services.
• The candidate must assess the requirements of the establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies.
• The candidate must develop detailed specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
• The candidate must negotiate offers from suppliers.
• The candidate must consult with suppliers.
• The candidate must review quotations.
• The candidate must monitor the progress of delivery schedules.
• The candidate must contact clients and suppliers to resolve any issues or discrepancies.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
